The UK Tourism Fair (WTM) is held virtually

The London Tourism Fair, known as the "Global Travel Market", is being held virtually this year under the influence of the Corona virus.  So the London Tourism Fair will share a new experience in the tourism industry as it celebrates its 40th anniversary.  The organizers of the exhibition have stated that the main purpose of the virtual event is to help the recovery, reconstruction and formation of the travel industry during this period. The 40th edition of the UK International Tourism Fair will be held virtually from November 9 to 11.

Hard winter awaits Egyptian tourism

Hotel owners and tour operators in Egypt believe that even if the tourist destinations reopen and international travel resumes, winter will be very difficult.  These days, only a very small number of tourists visit the Pyramids of Giza. Latest status of international flights from Iran

There are currently flights to Iraq via Basra.  Flights on the Najaf and Baghdad routes are provided on a case-by-case basis for Iraqi nationals holding visas or missions to these areas.  In the form of pilgrimage flights, there are currently no flights to Iraq.  The date for the launch of Turkish flights is currently first of October, but this date has not valid because several times, has been changed by Turkey.  Flights to the UAE are operated in accordance with health protocols and having a negative PCR test for passengers between the two countries. 

Issuance of special entry permit to "Van" for Iranian specialized participants and visitors in the 11th International Tourism and Travel Exhibition

"Behzad Shojaei" reported in an interview with Hotel News; During negotiations with the CEO of the Asia Exhibition Company and the Turkish parties, the offer of this entry permit was made, which was also welcomed. It was decided that the issue of issuing entry permits to the city of Van for Iranian specialized centers and visitors in this exhibition will be reviewed and the final result will be announced.  Restrictions and obstacles should not lead to the closure of tourism activities, but can be avoided with reasonable solutions to these challenges so that the tourism industry does not suffer from operational paralysis.

Memorandum of cooperation between the General Directorate of Cultural Heritage and Tourism and Alborz Chamber of Commerce

Increasing the interaction between the private and public sectors and promoting the province's share of the tourism industry's revenue in domestic and international markets are among the goals of this memorandum.  Domestic and international handicraft markets, strengthening infrastructure and introducing tourist attractions, as well as interaction in tourism events are among the provisions of this memorandum.

Establishing several international flights since September

Maghsoud Asadi Samani, Secretary of the Association of Airlines, announced;  Turkish Airline has announced that it will start operating flights to Iran from the beginning of September.  Naturally, when the flights of this company are established, the flights of Iranian airlines to Turkey will also be established.  The airline of the Islamic Republic of Iran has established flights to Spain and flights to Italy have been operational since August.  Iran Air has also obtained a German flight permission and we are waiting for the announcement of the German Ministry of Health to give us a license.

Possibility of delay in "Kermanshah 2020" tourism event

"Omid Ghaderi" General Manager of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts of Kermanshah Province;  Due to the outbreak of coronavirus disease, we are trying to hold this international event with a one-year delay.  The governor of Kermanshah asked the Ministry of Tourism not to cancel the event due to the coronavirus outbreak, but to delay it.

It was held in the presence of the Iranian Scientific Tourism Association;  Virtual Conference (Webinar) of the World Ecotourism Organization This virtual conference entitled "Spirit and Motivation in the Tourism Industry" was held with the focus on examining the situation of international ecotourism during the coronavirus era. More than 100 representatives of countries, organizations and professional associations and various institutions active in the field of ecotourism and nature tourism from around the world attended the virtual meeting. Farid Javaherzadeh, President of the Iranian Scientific Tourism Association, also attended the international conference with representatives from Iran.
